Something to think about
A worthy goal for all Christians is to live our lives in purity as a sacrifice to God. When we deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, it is pleasing to our Father. It has nothing to do with gay or straight. We all have our weaknesses. We all have a body of flesh. The flesh craves every kind of thing that will destroy us, every kind of sin imaginable. However, when we present our bodies to God and strive for purity, it is our spiritual act of worship. Yes, we will fail, but it should never be a reason to give up. Whether we are tempted to steal, or lie, or be dishonest, or to indulge in sexual impurity, or to indulge in alcohol, or food. All these cravings are designed by the enemy to destroy us. Jealousy, anger, and all these things are things we must set out to conquer. If we let them conquer us, we will die, because they are designed to kill us. Brothers and Sisters, let us not give up the good fight, and let us not let the enemy have rule over us. Each of us is in a battle over our flesh. And if we should stumble along the way, God's grace is with us, that we, in Jesus' Name, can get back up and continue the fight. And fight we will!!! And also let us not stop praying for one another. Being tempted with sin is not sin. It only becomes sin when we give in to the temptation. Something to think about.

"Suffering of the Christ" by Corey Couturier
Because I am a Christian first and foremost in my life, it would be obvious that many of my paintings are of spiritual origin. I did this painting out of my love for Jesus, and what He has done for me. The cross has become the focal point of history. This mixed media painting is painted on Quality Gallery Wrap Canvas made and shipped to me here in Montana from California. It measures 5ftH by 4ftW, I prayed over this mixed media piece before I ever put the brush to it. I asked God to help me create a Great Painting, and I believe He answered my prayer. In this style of painting I usually lay in the background and then look for clues towards the vision God puts in my mind. As I follow these clues, i often listen to music, or play the guitar, often with bursts of inspirational energy as the Holy Spirit guides me. www.coreycouturier.com

God's Favor
I believe I had God's favor on my life for many years, and I didn't even know it!! How is that possible? Because the enemy(Satan) kept me from knowing the truth about myself. Oh, I knew the truth intellectually, but I never felt like a Prince. I never felt like the son of a King!! A servant perhaps, or even the son who never did anything right. The enemy kept me in the dark. I'm beginning to think that it's his ultimate goal--to keep us in the dark, to keep us wondering who we are. If he can keep our true identity hidden from us, then he has power over us, not physical power, but the power of persuasion. Know this my friends, no matter how bleak things look, if you are a believer in Christ, God's supernatural FAVOR rests on you!! And because of that fact, You CAN accomplish great things in the Kingdom!!!
